WINTERFEST MERCHANDISE FOR BLUE CROSS RIVERRINK

We had great success this summer with the Official Spruce St. Harbor Park Tees and the Execs at DRWC asked us to create something for Blue Cross Riverrink’s Winterfest – Penn’s Landing’s premier ice skating destination.

With the same goal in mind as the summer collection, we wanted something supremely wearable. We went with only one bold design for the Winterfest Hoodies and made them available in three colors (black, charcoal grey, navy) in one unisex fit.
Winterfest Hoodies are for sale in small to extra large sizes exclusively at Winterfest – 101 S Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19147- for a limited time from Nov. 2015 through the end of Feb. 2016. Supplies are limited.

SPRUCE STREET HARBOR PARK TEES

Our love for the city knows no bounds so when we saw the opportunity to work with our favorite new Philly pop-up destination we jumped at the chance. The mini Jose Garces restaurants made of reclaimed shipping containers, the hammocks, the bar on the barge, free games, music and awesome LED lights hanging in the trees all make Spruce St. Harbor Park the place to spend some free time or take a date during the summer. What the spot did not have was a selection of branded mementos visitors to Harbor Park could take home to remember their good times there.

SSHP visitors are as diverse as the city’s inhabitants and we needed a fun way to speak to everyone. We all want to look cool no matter what so we worked hard to develop designs that were summery, fun, flavorful, and above all wearable. We also chose fits that would be sleek and colors that would reflect the lively atmosphere of the park. SSHP partnered with Yards Brewing Company to create a limited-run draft called “Lazy Hammock”, we worked with YBC to create a limited edition tee to compliment the brew.

The head honchos loved the designs and styles we presented them and so has the public. Indie-Life is proud to present OFFICIAL SSHP TEES & MERCH. 2 designs in men’s and women’s fits available in white, heather grey, charcoal grey, and berry; and the Yards Lazy Hammock in black and steel grey. SUMMERFEST ROLLERFEST AT PENN’S LANDING

For over 20 years DRWC has been operating the Blue Cross Riverrink at Penn’s Landing. From November to March each year the Market St East parking lot is converted into a full-sized ice skating rink. They have a zamboni and everything!

For the first time ever the ice skating rink has been transformed into a roller skating rink! The hospitality lodges that provide a cozy respite from the cold during Winterfest will provide shade from the heat during Summerfest. Summerfest was voted “Top 3 Places to Visit In 2015” by the New York Times, has topped many other “Top” and “Best of” lists and won several awards.

At the last minute DRWC had a scheduling conflict with the photographer and needed a cast of rollerskaters to appear in the advertisement for the new rink right away. As in less than 24 hours right away.  They called us and we put together a diverse cast of skaters that were featured in the ad, which ran as cover stories in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily News newspapers.
