He has found his calling in urging others forward, helping them to embrace their creative pursuits and find success on their own terms. Early on, Rasheed developed a comprehensive approach to event production and promotion, allowing his clients to focus on their product or performance instead of worrying about the details. From budgets and contract negotiations,  programming and hospitality to sponsorship coordination, staffing and online and field marketing, he is the point man for all operations and logistics. He has developed a loyal team of graphic designers, web designers, copy editors, photographers, videographers and brand ambassadors to help him stay quick, flexible and efficient on every project, big or small.

Drawing on his deep roots in Philadelphia’s music and cultural scenes, Rasheed has organized, music festivals, live music showcases, promotional videos, and pop-up concerts. A marketing maverick, he’s developed clever strategies for artists and small businesses (and a few bigger ones) to connect with new audiences and clientele. And his devotion to entrepreneurial freedom has led to speaking engagements and workshops with college and high school students focused on career development.

Rasheed has also worked as a Tour Manager on a contractual basis for nationally touring branding campaigns in various industries; clients included T-Mobile, TD Bank, Cadillac, Pepsi, Subaru, and Nestle. In 2008 he parlayed his field marketing experience into his own staffing agency, providing guerrilla marketing, street teams, guest services and event staff for a variety of events, openings, conventions and public attractions.

Indie-Life Media is Rasheed’s passion project: a way to bring all his skills together with his co-founder’s and put them in the service of independent artists and small businesses in Philadelphia. “This is a vibrant city on the rise,” he says. “And Indie-Life reflects its bold spirit. We’ve combined our extensive networks and respective strengths in production management, marketing, events, media, and staffing to service a new type of entrepreneurial clientele looking to target a new type of consumer.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”CONTACT” style=”outline” color=”danger” size=”lg” align=”center” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.indielifemedia.com%2Fcontact%2F|||”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
