Indie-Life Media recorded, mixed and produced

Curious Volume,

Pentagram’s acclaimed 2015 comeback album.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Curious Volume was Pentagram’s eighth studio album, recorded with Indie-Life producer Mattias Nilsson.  Indie-Life worked intimately with the band to create an LP that reflected its status as a doom metal progenitor, filled with the riffs and hooks that have defined their sound and produced with a clarity and attention to detail befitting their status.

The Quietus calls Curious Volume “doom-addled entertainment from start to finish…perhaps the most diverse, if not altogether challenging, collection of doom bangers that [Bobby] Liebling has put his name to in 44 years.”  The pioneering Virginia-based outfit has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity, fueled in part by an award-winning documentary that captures the raw resilience of addiction-plagued frontman Bobby Liebling.  Last Days Here came out in 2011 and became an instant film-fest favorite.

There was widespread appreciation of the doom-metal demi-gods’ eighth LP.  Tastemakers at Kerrang! declared Curious Volume “proof that when it comes to enormo-doom heaviness, few do it better.”
