[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]When Center City District launched the Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park they rolled out a city-wide advertising campaign to promote the new destination, which included a commercial produced by 6 ABC. The shoot required a closed set, meaning the general public was not allowed onto the rink–but that left no one to skate for the commercial.
With less than 36 hours to call time, Indie-Life provided a full cast of skaters to appear in the shoot. The cast’s diversity in age and background reflected the city’s own diversity; our people showed up promptly, worked diligently and got a great day of skating out of the job. The commercial ran locally on 6 ABC.
The rink is located at 15th & Market Streets in Center City Philadelphia and offers a fun, family-friendly experience to locals and tourists alike. For a modest fee, the rink offers skate rentals, lessons, the Rothman Cabin Hospitality Tent, free WiFi, and scenic views of the city. Rothman Ice Rink is operated by Center City District and supported by the Rothman Institute, PNC Bank, Temple University, Magee Rehab Hospital, and 6 ABC.
