Last week Pentagram released their first album in 5 years. Indie-Life recorded, mixed and produced the album, which so far, has received great reviews from critics and fans.
We are happy to be working with an artist that has such an integrity and been true in their writing over the years. These guys are pioneers and trendsetters for what many bands sound like today and to still be on the market after so long is inspiring to us.
Our approach was to blend their 80’s sound with their 70’s roots. It was a bit of a challenge to mix that cocktail given they have diverse sounds over their many albums. We’re happy with how it came together and are looking forward to see what fans think of it.
Pentagram has enjoyed a recent surge in interest due in part to the 2011 documentary “Last Days Here” following the life, trials & tribulations of Bobby Liebling. The film gained international recognition and won several awards including “Best Music Documentary” at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.
